| 释义 | 一国两制 yīɡuó-liǎnɡzhì noun one country, two systems 一国两制A policy developed in 1979 by the Chinese Communist Party under Deng Xiaoping. Its aim was to re-establish sovereignty over Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, and to enable a capitalist system to exist within the socialist system of the People's Republic of China. The policy was given constitutional status in 1982. |
