释义 | 易经 Yìjīnɡ noun I Ching《易经》I Ching, literally ‘Classic of Changes’or ‘Book of Changes’, is China’s first philosophical work, and one of the most important canons of Confucianism. It was originally entitled 《易》or 《周易》. ‘Yi’can mean change, simplicity or invariability. ‘Zhou’can mean the Zhou Dynasty, referring to the period when the book was used as a text of divination. It can also mean ‘all-inclusive’. Using bagua (→ 八卦), I Ching describes the world as originating in the ceaseless dialectical interaction of two opposite forces, yin and yang. |
