The two most influential Tang poets are Li Bai (李白) and Du Fu (杜甫). The Song period is known for its lyric poems, which were originally sung to a musical accompaniment. In style this form was either graceful and constrained, or bold and unconstrained. The representative literary form of the Yuan Dynasty is the yuanqu, drama consisting of song, operatic dialogue and movement. Guan Hanqing (关汉卿) is the most widely known of the yuanqu masters.
